Understanding Synthetic Medications 101....Cetirizine (Zyrtec)
Cetirizine (Zyrtec) is an antihistamine used to relieve allergic reactions especially seasonal allergies... When seasonal allergies strike you may have a number of symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, congestion, etc.... it is also used to treat people with idiopathic urticaria (hives or unexplained breakouts).
When using this medication you should avoid all alcohol due to its ability to cause drowsiness, impaired concentration, impaired judgement, dizziness. This side effects can increase the risk of injury or death. It can also cause dry mouth, headaches, and in few cases seizures. Also fatigue, sore throat, low blood pressure, etc...
This medication has not been found to deplete or interfere with any nutrients, however there are hundreds of other drug interactions. So be sure to research your meds....
