Antibiotics and Interactions with Dietary Supplements

There is a broad range of antibiotics on the market and they are used mainly for infections cause by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoas.  Although; many antibiotics can be effective, they can also have side effects and interact with your much needed vitamins and minerals.

Vitamin and Supplement Interaction
  • Lactobacillus- Many antibiotics can disturb the good/ friendly bacteria of the colon, resulting in diarrhea. Diarrhea can cause dehydration and reduce proper absorption of most, if not all nutrients.
  • Vitamin K is important for healthy blood clotting, antibiotics interfere by killing friendly bacteria in the large intestine, which is where production of vitamin K happens.

However
If you must take pharmaceutical grade antibiotics...There has been studies that states

Vitamin C increases the absorption of certain antibiotics like trimethoprim sulfamethoxazole ( bactrium, cotrim, septra, Uroplus, etc...) which also helps those with cystic  fibrosis.

Saccharomyces Boulardii - which is a harmless type of yeast that prevents diarrhea can be helpful.

Natural
As we all know one of the best potent antibiotics you have is good old fashion GARLIC.

Natural Health Junkies with Toxic Attitudes Is a Growing PANDEMIC!

There is nothing worse than seeing a Natural Health Advocate with a Toxic Attitude...Toxic attitudes are worst than toxic foods. There are many who are in the Natural Health Industry Spreading so called knowledge, but their attitudes are even more toxic than any chemical, additive, or preservative they are advocating against.

NOTE: If you are just going have a Negative Attitude, You should know that It speaks hugely about your own Spiritual, Physical, and Psychological Well-being. Natural Health and Wellness is a Complete Way of Life... and a way of life that we (WHO ARE SHARING) should be practicing ourselves. If we are so passionate about the cause, Then treat yourself FIRST by learning tolerance, acceptance, kindness, patience, along with other health matters. *Remember everyone has different levels of understanding, and None of us is the ALL KNOWING... God is... So I ask, What good is it to try and spread knowledge with a bad attitude. Bad attitudes are TOXIC to others but even more towards ONESELF.

13 Chemical Additive in your food that's harmful to your Health...

Allergic Reactions/ Vitamin Deficiencies of the Tongue

The tongue is a resilient organ that can heal itself fairly quickly, However it is very delicate and sensitive to certain foods and chemicals. The tongues that you see here have not been burned, this is not tongue cancer, or oral thrush.

This  can either come from an allergic reaction to certain foods, (mainly those with pesticides, chemicals, additives, and/or preservatives). This can also be caused by a vitamin deficiency. Either way this can cause pain and soreness. When this happens there are a couple of things you can do for natural treatment to relieve the pain; as well as, prevention prevention.
Pain Relief
  • One way of pain relief  is to, use a mixture of peroxide and water as a rinse.
  • Another way is to use 2-4 whole dried cloves twigs. Just put them in your mouth and move them around for about 5-10 mins as if you would a candy. This may sting a little only because cloves has antiseptic properties, but it will heal and mildly numb the tongue from pain. you may reapply at anytime.
  • You can make a rinse, using cloves. Just use 1 tbsp of whole cloves to one cup of purified water, Put them in a tea kettle and simmer for about 5-10 min. let it cool for a while. then rinse mouth. This alternative is good. (But, whole cloves on the tongue works best).
Prevention
  • Vitamin D
  • B Complex Vitamins "50"
  • Eat Organic Foods, If not organic, try washing fruits and vegetables with a food grade chemical/pesticide remover or Apple cider vinegar and water.

"Can you be prone to Osteoarthritis?"

For those of you who train with me, read my blogs, and who are clients of mine, have probably heard me talk of Physical activity being a key component in a healthy lifestyle. But, what happens when that key component becomes a real problem to maintain your health due to an ailment like osteoarthritis? Well, first lets get a good understanding of what osteoarthritis is, who can be affected, why does it happen, and how to best protect yourself from it.
*Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis out of over 100 types of arthritis. Osteoarthritis can affect anyone; not just our elderly. As a matter of fact; it can strike the best of us, in great condition, at the prime of our lives.  It normally happens when the articulating cartilage begins to gradually wear away over the course of time, leaving bones exposed to continuous friction against other bones. It can also be caused by a sedentary lifestyle, disease, heredity, or injuries. However it is painful, all the same.
-Osteoarthritis and the Physically ELITE-
*Osteoarthritis affects the ELITE because of continuously over-working the body with physical activity.  There has been various studies on Osteoarthritis and world athletes.
-Osteoarthritis and the SEDENTARY-
*Osteoarthritis affects the Sedentary due to inactivity... If we don't give our bodies the physical activity it need, our cartilage, joints, ligaments, tendons, and bones will not be strong enough to bounce back from injury or surgery, nor will it be able to heal itself properly.
-Osteoarthritis and HEREDITARY-
Osteoarthritis can be hereditary, but it doesn't have to be in your life. If you know it's a part of your families history, there are many things you can do to stir clear of it, beginning with diet, moderate exercise, and natural supplements.
